Democracy Day: APC Switzerland Chairman, Alfonso congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians

 

The Chairman of All Progressive Congress Switzerland Chapter, Amb. Adebayo Alfonso and CEO, The Alfonso Group Switzerland, have congratulated President Tinubu and appreciate him for his efforts in the struggle for the democracy we are enjoying today. 

He urged Nigerians to use the 2023 Democracy Day to make necessary sacrifices to strengthen democratic institutions.

This was just as the APC Switzerland Chairman returned to his base in Switzerland. He tasked Nigerians to use the day to reflect on their roles in peace-building and good governance for sustainable development in our nation.

According to him, "I congratulate our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and felicitate with fellow Nigerians today as we mark another uninterrupted democratic governance in our beloved country.

"Democracy Day marks the turning point in our history, when we-as a nation-defied all odds and expectations, and chose to rebuild our motherland on the principles adhered to by many nations before us.

"Let us understand that this democracy of ours is not just a gift but a responsibility to be harnessed and developed for the benefit of generations of Nigerians that are yet to be born

"I further encourage Nigerians to live together in Unity. It is a propelling factor toward nation-building. No other people or nation can build a sustainable environment but the citizens of that nation. The job is cut out for us as Nigerians.

I congratulate all Nigerians on today’s commemoration of this important day in the democratic calendar of our country. " Alfonso asserted.
