The former Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Cooperative and Empowerments, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun has felicitated with his Muslim constituents and Nigeria at large, as they join their counterparts around the world to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir. He urged them to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice from Prophet Ibraheem.
Olaonipekun also called on the Muslim faithful to work together with people of other faiths for the peace, unity, and progress of Nigeria.
He advised the Muslim faithful to learn from the examples set by Prophet Ibraheem and to avoid actions that could undermine the unity and stability of Nigeria.
Reflecting on the significance of Eid-el-Adha, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun emphasized that the celebration holds great importance in human history due to the bountiful rewards that followed Prophet Ibraheem's patience and perseverance in his faith, despite facing challenges.
