Osun Royal Father applauds Amotekun for being a People Friendly Security Agency ...as Amotekun Corps Commander and Field Commander pays homage to his Palace


The Osun State Corps Commander Amotekun Corps, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi and the Field Commander, Commander Olusoji Akanni on Tuesday paid a royal homage to the palace of Olona of Ada, HRM Oba Olumuyiwa Ojo Oyetunde.

Adewinmbi emphasized the importance of teamwork and cooperation to the goals of the Corps. 

In his address, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi said the visitation to the royal palace is to deliberate with the king on the reformation of Amotekun and to seek his support for the Amotekun corps in the state to secure the state and to make it a crime-free state.


He appreciated the Royal father for hosting them in his palace despite his tight schedule and urged the King to support the intelligence gathering by exposing the criminals in the town to the corps to maintain law and order in the town and its environs.


Adewinmbi also maintained that the corps will not hesitate to expose the criminals in their hideouts and protect the lives and property of the residents of the state.


In his remarks, the Olona of Ada, HRM Oba Olumuyiwa Ojo Oyetunde, applauded the Corps Commander and the Field Commander for finding him worthy to visit, he commended the zeal of the Commanders and the Operatives for protecting the lives and properties of the residents of the state.


He promised to support the Commanders and his ready to share any information that's very important to the corps.


He described Amotekun as a people-friendly Agency and the corps have been working assiduously in the town and he always enjoyed their work.


He also called for Inter-Agency's relationship with local securities to boost the security apparatus in the state.
