A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the Ife East Area Council, Modakeke, Engr. Kayode Sowade has hailed the appointment of Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji as MD/CEO of the National Inland Waterways by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Sowade an associate of His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola CON, the Honourable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy described Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji, a two term Commissioner for Finance in Osun State as a developmental stride that will help harness maximally the potential in the nation's waterways.
Oyebamiji a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers was described by Sowade as a man with a vast wealth of experience in public service and a rich resumé of success in public administration.
In same vein, the erudite engineer hailed the Honourable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, HE Adegboyega Oyetola CON as a leader who reward's loyalty and competence, citing the appointment of the new MD/CEO of NIWA as a testament to the Honourable Minister's commitment to quality service delivery and reward for selfless contribution to nation building.
The statement read's in part "the appointment of Alhaji Bola Oyebamiji as the new MD/CEO of the National Inland Waterways Authority is a round peg in a round hole, he is a selfless, committed and patriotic Nigerian whose credentials speaks to his person as a competent administrator and public servant, I have no doubt that he will achieve tremendous success in his new assignment"
