Dr. Siji Olamiju, popularly known as Akol, former cabinet member in charge of public health in the last administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola has expressed shock over the passing of Alhaji Baderu, also known as Rondorondo, describing it as a "colossal loss" to the people of Iwo and the APC in Osun state.
In a statement released to the press through his media team. Dr. Olamiju said the former Special Adviser to Governor Gboyega Oyetola's exit was a great loss to the progressive family. He recalled their last conversation during Alhaji Baderu's daughter's wedding, where they discussed the party's development and agreed to work together for its betterment.
Alhaji Baderu was a leader and pillar of the party in Iwo and Osun state, prioritizing the party's progress. He chaired the defection committee of Hon. Dotun Babayemi, which had a significant impact on the party in Osun state.
Dr. Olamiju remembered Alhaji Baderu's dedication to the party, saying it would always be remembered. He bid farewell to his brother and leader, wishing his soul to rest in peace.
