Prof. Siji Olamiju (Akol), a Healthcare Practitioner and Politician, has expressed confidence that Nigeria will regain its lost glories under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership.
Speaking in Osogbo, Osun State, Prof. Olamiju urged Nigerians to remain hopeful about President Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda despite current challenges. He acknowledged that ongoing reforms may cause temporary difficulties but was confident that the outcomes would be a better Nigeria.
As a former Cabinet member in charge of public health under former Osun State Governor Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, Prof. Olamiju emphasized that President Tinubu understands the challenges facing Nigerians and has a clear vision for the country's development.
"I have strong faith in President Tinubu's reform system, and I believe that before his second anniversary, we will achieve the Nigeria of our dreams," Prof. Olamiju said.
He appealed to Nigerians to be patient and support the President's efforts, stating that the removal of subsidies, although painful, was necessary to prevent the nation's irreversible collapse. Prof. Olamiju also commented on the recent fuel price increase, saying that more elucidations would emerge once President Tinubu returns from his trip.
In conclusion, Prof. Olamiju urged Nigerians to unite and pray for the success of the Tinubu-led federal government and the nation's progress.
