Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Omoyele, congratulates Osun SSG, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, on His Installation as Bobagunwa of Osogboland


The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Secretary to the Osun State Government (SSG), Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, on his recent installation as the Bobagunwa of Osogboland. The distinguished ceremony took place on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the royal palace of the Ataoja of Osogboland, His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II.


In a statement issued to the press and made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Yusuf Idowu Abass, Commander Omoyele expressed his profound joy at the recognition of Alhaji Igbalaye’s exceptional service to the advancement of Osogbo and its people. 


The Corps Commander emphasized that the installation of Alhaji Igbalaye as Bobagunwa is a well-deserved honor, reflecting his immense contributions to the development of Osogboland and the legacy of his late father, who once held the same esteemed title.


Commander Omoyele further praised Alhaji Igbalaye for his exemplary leadership and commitment to mentoring the younger generation, encouraging them to strive for excellence and follow in his footsteps. He acknowledged Igbalaye’s efforts in fostering unity, progress, and peace within Osogbo, which have greatly contributed to the growth of the community.


Omoyele concluded his message by wishing Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye continued success in his new royal role, as well as the fortitude and wisdom to further serve the people of Osogboland and beyond.
