Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Omoyele, Extends Warm Christmas Greetings to Christians in Osun State


The Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to all Christians in Osun State, urging them to celebrate the season in peace, unity, and moderation.


In a statement issued to the press on Tuesday, Dr. Omoyele expressed his best wishes to Christian communities across the state, acknowledging the significance of Christmas as a time for reflection, joy, and spiritual renewal. 


He emphasized the importance of celebrating the season responsibly, keeping in mind the safety and well-being of all residents.


"Christmas is a time of joy and togetherness, and I encourage all Christians in Osun State to celebrate with love, peace, and moderation," Dr. Omoyele stated. "It is also a time to reflect on the values of kindness, compassion, and goodwill, which we should carry throughout the year."


He further urged the residents of Osun State to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or security concerns to the Amotekun Corps or other relevant security agencies. "The safety of our communities is paramount," Dr. Omoyele continued. 


"Should there be any security challenges in your area, I encourage everyone to contact the Amotekun Corps or the appropriate authorities immediately. Together, we can ensure that our celebrations remain peaceful and safe for all."


The Osun Amotekun Corps Commander also reminded the public that the Amotekun Corps, alongside other security agencies, is committed to ensuring the security of lives and properties across the state, especially during the festive period when gatherings and activities tend to increase.
