The New Spring group has commended the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, for his kind and generous Yuletide gesture towards the people of Osun state.
In a statement released on behalf of the group's national leader, Prof Siji Olamiju Akol, and made available through the coordinator, Pst Adebayo Temitope Balogun, the group praised Oyetola's demonstration of love and kindness towards the people of Osun State.
"This gesture will undoubtedly bring relief and joy to many families in Osun, especially those who were struggling to make ends meet during this festive season," the group said.
The New Spring group urged those responsible for distributing the items, rice, cow, fow, oil, and many other to mention to ensure that they reach the grassroots and the less privileged, who need them the most.
The group also offered prayers for the Honourable Minister, saying: "May the good Lord continue to establish him, energize him, and empower him to serve the people of Osun and the entire nation even more. The statement concluded.
