The Tobalase Group in Osogbo has heartily congratulated the newly installed Asiwaju of Osogboland, Hon. Justice Moshud Adekunle Adeigbe (RTD), following his formal installation on Friday by His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, the Ataoja of Osogboland.
The grand installation ceremony took place at the Ataoja Palace in Osogbo, with dignitaries from across the region gathering to celebrate the momentous occasion.
In a statement made available to the media, the Public Relations Officer of the Tobalase Group, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, conveyed the group’s warmest congratulations to Hon. Justice Adeigbe, recognizing his exemplary contributions to the growth and progress of Osogbo. Efe described Hon. Justice Adeigbe as a “round peg in a round hole,” acknowledging his role in uniting the community and his instrumental efforts in fostering development within the region.
His leadership qualities and dedication have made him a deserving recipient of the esteemed position of Asiwaju, supported by the Ataoja, the traditional chiefs, and the people of Osogbo.
The statement further urged the people of Osogbo to rally behind their new leader, Hon. Justice Adeigbe, in his mission to achieve further development and progress for the city and its people.
The Tobalase Group expressed confidence that his leadership would usher in a new era of growth, unity, and prosperity for Osogboland.
Additionally, the Tobalase Group expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the distinguished dignitaries who attended the installation ceremony. These included His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Enitan Ogunwusi, who was ably represented; His Royal Majesty, the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal Laminisa; the Orangun of Oke-Ila, as well as other prominent leaders who traveled from near and far to honor the occasion. The group also thanked the Osogbo Action Council for their continued efforts in supporting the Asiwaju of Osogboland in advancing the town's progress.
