LAUMGA Osogbo Branch Set to Host Maiden Alumni Public Lecture and Inauguration of New Executives


The Lautech Muslim Graduates Association (LAUMGA), Osogbo Branch, has announced plans to host its Maiden Alumni Public Lecture and Inauguration of New Branch Executives on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

The landmark event, themed “Fostering Unity and Progress: The Role of Muslim Graduates in Nation Building Through Digital Technology,” will feature distinguished personalities and thought leaders within and beyond the LAUMGA community.

The Guest Speaker for the lecture is Engr. Abdulhakeem Ademola Raji, the Chief Imam of Sepeteri, Oyo State, who will deliver an inspiring address centered on the intersection of faith, technology, and national development.

The Distinguished Guest of Honour is Engr. Muideen Haruna, the National President of LAUMGA, while the event will be chaired and hosted by Hon. Engr. Olalekan Abdulrahman Badmus, FNSE, the Executive Director, Marine and Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and Global President, LAUTECH Alumni Worldwide.

The Spiritual Father of the Day will be the Chief Imam of Lamenco Central Mosque, who will grace the event with prayers and blessings for the success of the program and the newly inaugurated executives.

The event is scheduled to hold at Morkaz Solahideen Qur’anic and Arabic Center, located within the premises of Okin Mosque, behind Capital Hotel, Awosuru Road, Osogbo, Osun State, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the Branch Chairman, Mr. Abduljeleel Owolanwi OJ Success, expressed enthusiasm about the program, describing it as a historic step toward strengthening the association’s impact within the community. He noted that the lecture aims to promote unity, professional excellence, and the integration of digital innovation among Muslim graduates in nation-building.

Mr. Owolanwi further encouraged all LAUMGA members, LAUTECH alumni, and the general public to attend the event and be part of what promises to be a remarkable convergence of intellect, spirituality, and service.
