'I Have A Lot Of Marks On My Body From The Streets; The Way I Grew Up Is Smoking, Drinking' –Imisi

BBNaija Season 10 winner Imisi has opened up about the harsh realities of growing up on the streets, revealing that she has numerous scars on her body from her upbringing. She described the street experience as overwhelming and stated she doesn't want her own children to go through what she endured.

Speaking on BTS Reality Show with Jermaine Media, Imisi explained that growing up in the streets exposed her to smoking, drinking, and many dangerous situations. She stated that having marks all over her body as a girl child is something she found particularly difficult before entering the Big Brother house.
Imisi said: "It's crazy. My body, I have a lot of marks on my body. For a girl child, I would say it's a no-no. I really feel, even before I went to the show, I feel people have seen this because it is really, really overwhelming. The street, I don't want to say it's a toxic place, but it's really, really crazy. I have a lot of marks on my body. I'm telling you, I have marks. It is really crazy. To grow up in the streets, street-street, it is crazy. I don't pray for anyone. The way I grew up is smoking, drinking. You get exposed to so many things. I'm telling you, it's too much. The street actually made me. There are some certain things I can face without shaking. The streets taught me to be strong. I'm a girl, but at the same time, I can be a man."
