According to a report by Leadership News on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Prince Abdullahi Abbas, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, has vowed that his party will do all within its power to stop Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) from returning to office in the 2027 general election.

Abbas made the remark while addressing members of the party’s social media team during a meeting held in Gwale Local Government Area of the state.
