Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has emotionally opened up about her struggles, she broke down in tears and declared, “I give up.” The actress, who has been facing family and personal challenges, revealed she feels mentally and emotionally drained.
According to report by Vanguard News on Friday, November 7, 2025, Daniels hinted that she might return to her husband, stating, “I’ve tried. Every day I hope for good news about my brother, but nothing changes. I have to go, I will go back.”
Daniels admitted she was overwhelmed, saying she was “losing her mind” and crying publicly out of frustration. Her breakdown followed her announcement a day earlier that her parents, previously estranged, had reconciled solely for her happiness.
Daniels explained that her parents reunited to work together in Abuja to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has been detained for several days. Expressing concern about his prolonged detention, she vowed to take matters into her own hands if necessary, saying she would “create a storm” to free him.
Daniels accused the Nigerian police of corruption, claiming her brother was being punished for defending her against abuse. She alleged that her husband, Ned Nwoko, wielded influence to suppress justice, lamenting that she had “lost everything.”
Her outburst comes weeks after she publicly hinted at domestic violence in her marriage, claims Nwoko denied, attributing her behavior to “drug and alcohol abuse.”
Earlier this week, Daniels had pleaded with Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”
