A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ila Federal Constituency, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun, has extended warm felicitations to the party's leader and Interim National Chairman, Chief Adebisi Akande, on the occasion of his 86th birthday.
The message was released from his media office and made available to journalists in Osogbo.
In the statement, Dr. Olaonipekun described Chief Akande as a trailblazer, pacesetter, and pathfinder. He emphasized that the elder statesman is a leader par excellence, the "Father Abraham" of the nation, and a worthy trendsetter whose wisdom continues to guide the APC and the country at large.
The former Governor of Osun State was also praised as a leader, who is an integral figure in modern Nigerian politics.
Dr. Olaonipekun noted that Chief Akande's contributions to the development of Osun State, Nigeria, and the All Progressives Congress are unmatched, setting a high standard for future generations.
"On the occasion of your birthday, I join families, friends, political associates, and well-wishers to wish our revered leader a happy birthday and many more prosperous and fruitful years ahead in sound health," Dr. Olaonipekun added.
