Hauwa Hassan, wife of a former AIT staff member, Umar Usman Iyale, who was kidnapped by gunmen at his residence in Danhonu II, Millennium City, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, has called for intensified efforts by security agencies to secure her husband's rescue.
Recently, the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has directed security agencies, including the Nigerian Police Force and the Nigerian Army, amongst others, to cordon forests across the country in a bid to tackle the rising level of insecurity.
However, in the video posted by TrustTV News, Hauwa Hassan, wife of the kidnapped victim, recounted her ordeal in the abduction.
She recalled how the kidnappers had warned her against raising alarm, and yet she shouted, but no one came to her rescue.
According to the video, "They told me that if I shout, they will shoot me. I shouted, but nobody came out for me."
