I don't know about Carrick yet, but Steve Holland as assistant is an excellent move regardless. He was very highly rated during his time at Chelsea and I expect he'll provide brilliant support.

Very good appointment given the circumstances. Think the appointment of Holland and Jonny Evans is shrewd. Good luck Michael, I hope you get support from the players as well as the hierarchy.

A wise appointment at this point. He knows the club, expectations and some of the players too. He should have been allowed longer before or instead of Rangnick. Pleased.
