SSANU women leaders and activists are calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) to urgently complete renegotiation talks with labour unions, emphasizing the impact of ongoing disputes on Nigerian families and communities.
"We understand the challenges, but women and children are bearing the brunt of these unresolved issues," said a spokesperson for National Women Committee NWC, SSANU. "We appeal to the FGN to prioritize dialogue and find a swift resolution that benefits all Nigerians."
The call comes amid tensions between the government and labour unions over minimum wage and other welfare issues.
The FGN is urged to act swiftly to restore stability and ensure the well-being of Nigerian households.
