The House of Representatives aspirant for Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu Federal Constituency, Engr. Akogun Raji Abioye (ARA), on Saturday attended the All Progressives Congress (APC) reception held in honour of five National Assembly members who recently defected from the PDP/ACCORD to the APC. The grand event took place at Freedom Park, Osogbo, and attracted a mammoth crowd of party faithful, stakeholders, and supporters from across Osun State.
Engr. Abioye was warmly received by an enthusiastic gathering of supporters who thronged the venue in solidarity, reflecting his growing popularity and acceptance across the federal constituency. His presence at the high-profile event further underscored his commitment to party unity, progressive ideals, and grassroots mobilization.
While addressing party members and supporters, Engr. Abioye publicly declared his unwavering support for the APC Governorship Flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO). He charged members of his campaign committee and loyalists to work assiduously toward ensuring a resounding victory for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for August 8, 2026.
The aspirant pledged his full backing for the AMBO gubernatorial ambition, assuring stakeholders of his readiness to contribute significantly through strategic mobilization and financial support to guarantee electoral success for the party.
Engr. Abioye applauded the Osun State APC leadership for what he described as their “visionary and dedicated leadership,” noting that their steadfast efforts have continued to reposition and strengthen the party across the state. Reaffirming his aspiration to represent the people of Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun, and Orolu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Engr.
