HIBACAN Celebrates Years of Achievement, Honors Distinguished Personalities, and Recognizes Dignitaries at Prestigious Event



The Hairdresser Association in Osun State (HIBACAN), under the leadership of Mrs. Funmilayo Bibi Taiwo, recently commemorated its years of outstanding contributions to the beauty and grooming industry, honoring remarkable individuals for their immense support and contributions to the association’s growth and success.

The event, a momentous occasion in Osun State, recognized several distinguished personalities with honorary titles in a grand celebration that exemplified community spirit and dedication to excellence. Among the esteemed honorees was Engr. Olalekan Abdulrahman Badmus, the Executive Director of Operations and Marine at the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA), who was bestowed with the honorary title of Asiwaju of HIBACAN, Osun State. His role in championing the cause of the association and his contribution to societal development were celebrated during the event. Another prominent figure, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, the Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market in Osogbo, was appointed Special Adviser to the association. Chief Efe, who also serves as the representative of Ataoja of Osogboland, HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, across all the markets in Osogbo, was recognized for his outstanding leadership and efforts in enhancing the local market network.







Speaking at the occasion, Mrs. Funmilayo Bibi Taiwo, President of HIBACAN, extended heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries present, acknowledging their unwavering support and commitment to the association. She assured that the association would continue to uphold its values and progress, expressing deep appreciation for the presence of several high-profile leaders who graced the celebration.

Mrs. Taiwo specifically thanked the Governor of Osun State, Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, for his support, as well as HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, the Ataoja of Osogboland, for his esteemed presence and guidance.
