Mrs. Oyekoya Yetunde Commends Ejigbo LCDA Chairman, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, for Outstanding Developmental Strides


A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Oyekoya Yetunde, has publicly applauded the Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, fondly known as Aare T.A.T, for what she described as remarkable developmental achievements across the council area.

Speaking with journalists in Lagos, Mrs. Oyekoya expressed deep satisfaction with the pace and quality of progress recorded under the Chairman’s administration. She described Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo as “a round peg in a round hole,” emphasizing that his leadership style, commitment, and results clearly demonstrate that he is well-suited for the responsibilities entrusted to him.

According to her, the office of the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area serves as the chief executive authority responsible for the overall administration and sustainable development of the council. As both the political and administrative head, the Chairman oversees the formulation and implementation of policies, supervises community development initiatives, and ensures the effective delivery of essential public services that directly impact the daily lives of residents.

Mrs. Oyekoya noted that under the current administration, Ejigbo LCDA has continued to witness significant progress in key sectors, including infrastructure development, environmental sanitation, primary healthcare services, and educational support programmes. She highlighted improvements in road rehabilitation, drainage systems, public facility upgrades, and sanitation campaigns aimed at promoting a cleaner and healthier environment for all.

She further commended the administration’s strong emphasis on grassroots development, youth empowerment initiatives, and the inclusion of women in governance and economic opportunities. According to her, various empowerment programmes and community-driven projects introduced by the Chairman have created meaningful opportunities for young people and strengthened local participation in governance.

Security and community peace-building efforts were also identified as priority areas under the Chairman’s leadership. Mrs. Oyekoya praised the collaborative approach adopted by Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, noting that he works closely with traditional rulers, community leaders, religious institutions, and other critical stakeholders to promote unity, stability, and sustainable growth across Ejigbo LCDA.

She stressed that the administration’s guiding principles of dedication, transparency, and accountability have strengthened public trust and enhanced effective service delivery. “The Chairman’s vision of building a cleaner, safer, and more prosperous Ejigbo is not just a slogan, but a practical agenda backed by visible achievements and people-oriented policies,” she stated.

Mrs. Oyekoya Yetunde concluded by encouraging residents to continue supporting the present administration, affirming that sustained collaboration between government and the people will further accelerate development and improve the overall welfare and prosperity of all who live and work in Ejigbo LCDA.
