A prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State and former Osun State Executive Council Member in charge of Public Health, Prof. Siji Olamiju Akol, has congratulated Distinguished Senator Ajibola Basiru, popularly known as SRJ, on his re-election as the National Secretary of the party at the just concluded National Conference.
In his congratulatory message, released to the press in Osogbo, Osun State, through his Media Aide pastor Adebayo Temitope.
Prof. Olamiju described the re-election of Senator Basiru as a well-deserved recognition of hIs sincerity, unwavering dedication, and consistent service to the party. He noted that SRJ has continued to distinguish himself as a disciplined and loyal party man whose leadership is anchored on integrity and transparency.
According to him, “Senator Ajibola Basiru has demonstrated uncommon commitment to the ideals of the APC. His sincerity of purpose and dedication to duty have contributed immensely to strengthening the party’s structure and unity at both state and national levels.”
He further expressed confidence that Basiru’s continued stay in office would enhance internal cohesion and reposition the party for greater success in future political engagements. He added that SRJ’s integrity and administrative competence remain vital assets to the progressive family.
He prayed that God grants the National Secretary more wisdom, strength, and sound health to carry out his responsibilities effectively, while urging party members to continue to support his leadership for the overall progress of the APC.
The Osun APC Chieftain reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the party and pledged continued support for leaders who have demonstrated capacity, sincerity, and dedication to service.
