The Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Alumni Association (OSPAA), Osogbo City Chapter, has warmly commended the National President of the Association, Alhaji Yakub Akeem Adebayo, for his remarkable act of generosity in distributing giveaways to members during the recent Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Osogbo, the Acting Chairman of OSPAA Osogbo City, Comrade Akindele Rauf O’rauf, through the Acting Secretary, Yusuf Idowu Abass, lauded the President’s thoughtful initiative, describing it as a demonstration of true leadership, unity, and compassion within the alumni community.
The statement noted that the gesture not only brought joy to members celebrating the Muslim festival but also strengthened the bond of fellowship and mutual support among alumni across different backgrounds.
“Alhaji Yakub Akeem Adebayo’s generosity during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration is highly commendable and worthy of emulation. His actions reflect a deep commitment to the welfare and inclusiveness of members of this great association,” the statement read.
The Osogbo City Chapter further expressed optimism that similar gestures would be extended during the forthcoming Easter celebrations, emphasizing the importance of fostering unity and shared happiness among members irrespective of religious affiliations.
The leadership also called on other well-meaning members and stakeholders of the association to emulate the National President’s example by contributing to the growth, unity, and welfare of the alumni body.
