Nollywood actress and singer Busayo Ajibode has revealed the incident that happened between her and a waste collector in her compound, while also stating why some people did not believe her when the incident happened.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Feel Right News TV during an interview, she made it known that a waste collector molested her in her parents' compound but that many people didn't believe her because she was very young at the time.
According to Busayo Ajibode, she said, "One day, a waste collector came to pack the waste in our house, and he was fond of touching my body anytime he was playing with me, but I always told him I didn't like his jokes. I was very stubborn when I was younger, and I didn't associate myself with men at the time. A man forcefully touched my chest, I pushed him, then he slapped and pushed me in a gutter. When I struggled to come out of the gutter, I held his shirt and I kept on screaming so that people would come out. My stepmother came out, and I explained everything to her, but to my surprise, she said there was no big deal. I was very angry with what my stepmother said, so I went inside our house to take a knife, and I told her that I would kill myself. All the people that came out didn't believe me, and they collected the knife from me and they tied my hands and legs. They put me at the back of a car and took me to my father's house, but when he saw how they tied me, he chased them away with a cutlass."
