A medical doctor, Ere Siana Sintei Ogbachi, has reportedly died, after delivering triplets in Bayelsa State.
It was learnt that Ere was an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB/GYN) resident before her passing.
According to reports, she gave birth at Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, but developed complications shortly after delivery.
Thereafter, the woman was said to have been transferred to Federal Medical Centre Yenagoa, where she was admitted to the ICU and managed by a team of specialists.
However, despite intensive efforts, she eventually passed away in the early hours of April 14, 2026.
