April 2, 2026 marks a historic milestone in the life of the good people of Osi-Okero, Ile-Ife, as it celebrates the first coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeboye Thomas Ademiluyi, the Oshinlade of Osi-Okero, Ife
It will be recalled that Kabiyesi was officially presented with the staff of office by His Excellency, Governor Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke, signifying the beginning of a new era of purposeful leadership, unity, and cultural revival in the ancient town.
In a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo, Osun State,
Pharmacist Tunde Adesina and CEO Therit Pharmacy and Super Market Osogbo Osun poured encomiums on the revered monarch, describing his reign as a divine blessing and a turning point in the history of Osi-Okero.
According to him,
“Since the ascension of His Royal Majesty Oba Adeboye Thomas Ademiluyi to the throne of his forefathers, Osi-Okero has witnessed remarkable transformation. His reign has brought peace, progressive development, and renewed pride in our cultural heritage as true descendants of Ile-Ife, the cradle of Yoruba civilization.”
The CEO therit pharmacy and supermarket pharm Tunde Adesina further noted that Kabiyesi’s leadership style, marked by wisdom, humility, and inclusiveness, has united indigenes both at home and in the diaspora, fostering cooperation and collective commitment towards the growth of the community.
He emphasized that within just one year on the throne, the monarch has initiated people-oriented efforts, strengthened traditional institutions, and promoted the rich customs and values of Osi-Okero, thereby reconnecting the people to their roots and ancestral identity.
“Your reign is indeed a blessing to the people of Osi-Okero Ife. You have not only upheld the dignity of the crown but have also elevated the status of our town among neighboring communities. Your dedication to service, peace, and development is commendable and worthy of emulation,” Adesina stated.
Phar Tunde Adesina concluded by praying for Kabiyesi’s continued good health, long life, and a prosperous reign filled with greater accomplishments, urging the people of Osi-Okero to continue supporting the monarch in his quest to build a stronger, more united, and progressive community.
