Patrick Okoye was a lecturer in the Department of Theatre Arts and Film Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State.
He was widely known for portraying traditional leadership roles such as Igwe and Onowu in films.
He featured in productions such as Midnight Love, Old School, Finding a Wife, The Lion, The Jagaban, and Over My Dead Body, alongside actors including Patience Ozokwor, Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikedieze, Rita Arum, and Yul Edochie.
