The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly Candidate for Ife South Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon.
Najeem Oyewumi, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Ife South Constituency, Osun State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-El-Adha celebration.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Hon. Oyewumi described Eid-El-Adha as a sacred festival that symbolizes obedience, sacrifice, love, peace, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
He congratulated Muslim faithful, APC leaders, party members, and supporters in Ife South Constituency for witnessing another Eid-El-Adha celebration in good health and prosperity. He also extended his heartfelt greetings to Muslims across Osun State and the nation at large.
The APC chieftain specially congratulated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola; the APC Governorship Candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji; the Osun State APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal; alongside other leaders and stakeholders of the party for the successful celebration of the Sallah festival.
Hon. Oyewumi urged Muslims and Nigerians generally to continue to uphold the virtues of tolerance, unity, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
According to him, “Eid-El-Adha is a season that reminds us of the importance of selflessness, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. It is also a period for us to pray for the peace, unity, and development of Osun State and Nigeria as a whole.”
He further appealed to residents of Osun State to continue supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
Hon. Oyewumi expressed confidence that the APC remains the best platform to deliver good governance, sustainable development, and people-oriented leadership in Osun State.
He therefore called on party faithful, supporters, and eligible voters across the state to mobilize massively and cast their votes for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election to ensure victory for the party.
While wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyful Eid-El-Adha celebration, Hon. Najeem Oyewumi prayed for continued progress, unity, and prosperity for Osun State and Nigeria.
