EID-EL-ADHA: Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe Felicitates Muslims Faithful, Calls For Peace, Unity and Moderation


The Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market, Osogbo, and the representative of the Ataoja of Osogboland, HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, across markets in Osogbo, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in Osun State and across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-El-Adha celebration.

In a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo, Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe urged Muslims and Nigerians in general to celebrate the sacred festival with moderation, love, peace, and absolute devotion to the teachings of Islam, emphasizing the need for unity, tolerance, and continuous prayers for the peace and progress of the nation.

According to him, Eid-El-Adha remains a significant period for sober reflection, sacrifice, obedience to Allah, and compassion towards humanity, stressing that Nigerians must continue to promote peaceful coexistence irrespective of religious or political differences.

Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe specially conveyed his royal greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the Ataoja of Osogboland, HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, praying for continued wisdom, long life, sound health, and a successful reign filled with peace and development across Osogboland.

He also congratulated the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on the occasion of the celebration, commending his administration’s efforts towards infrastructural development, workers’ welfare, and good governance in the state.

The respected market leader further extended his goodwill message to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, acknowledging his contributions to governance and national development.

Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe equally felicitated with the former Governor of Osun State and the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for his continuous role in political development and leadership within and outside Osun State.
In the same vein, he celebrated the Asiwaju of Osogboland, retired Justice Moshud Adekunle Adeigbe, for his unwavering commitment to justice, community development, and support for humanity.

Speaking further, Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe praised the 2027 APC Senatorial hopeful, Barrister Kunle Rasheed K-Rad, describing him as a promising political figure with strong commitment towards the development of Osun Central and empowerment of the people.

He also showered encomiums on the Executive Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Engr. Olalekan Abdulrahman Badmus, FNSE, whom he described as a visionary leader using his office and influence to impact lives positively across Osun State, particularly in Osogbo.

According to him, the philanthropic gestures and people-oriented support being demonstrated by Engr. Badmus have continued to strengthen public confidence and political support capable of contributing immensely to future electoral victories, including the success of any candidate he supports in the forthcoming Osun governorship election as well as the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe further appreciated the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Asiwaju Khamis Tunde Badmus, for his outstanding contributions towards the growth and advancement of Islam, humanitarian services, and continuous support for Islamic activities across the Southwest and beyond.

He concluded by calling on Nigerians to use the Eid-El-Adha celebration as an opportunity to pray fervently for national unity, economic stability, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable progress across the country.

“May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices, answer our prayers, and continue to bless Osun State and Nigeria as a whole,” he stated.
