The Executive Board Member of the Osun State Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), Prince Bola Oyebowale FCA, ACTI, MMP (Mandate), has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Osun State and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Osogbo, Prince Oyebowale described Eid-El-Kabir as a significant spiritual festival that symbolizes obedience, sacrifice, love, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
He urged Muslims to use the sacred occasion to reflect on the teachings and virtues exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, particularly the values of sacrifice, tolerance, compassion, and unwavering faith in God.
Prince Oyebowale further appealed to Muslims and Nigerians at large to celebrate the festival with moderation, peace, and consideration for one another, especially the less privileged in society. According to him, the essence of the celebration should inspire unity, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence among all citizens irrespective of religious or political affiliations.
The OIRS Board Member also called on the people of Osun State to continue praying for sustained peace, progress, and stability in the state, noting that the current peaceful atmosphere remains essential for development and economic growth.
He equally charged residents to pray for the continued success of the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, while expressing optimism that the governor would emerge victorious in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15, 2026.
Prince Oyebowale stated that the re-election of Governor Adeleke would ensure the continuation of people-oriented policies, infrastructural development, and good governance currently being enjoyed across the state.
“Eid-El-Kabir is a season of love, sacrifice, and prayers. I encourage all Muslim faithful to celebrate peacefully and continue to pray for the unity of Nigeria, the peace of Osun State, and the success of our leaders at all levels,” he stated.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyful, peaceful, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
