A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Prof. Siji Olamiju Akol, has commiserated with former Minister of Health and Nigerian Ambassador to Canada, Isaac Adewole, and the entire Adewole family over the death of their matriarch, Deaconess Florence Monisola Adewole, who passed away at the age of 101.
In a statement released to the press, though his media team Prof. Olamiju described the late matriarch, who died on Monday, May 25, 2026, as a virtuous woman who lived a fulfilled life and raised children who have contributed immensely to the service of humanity and national development.
According to Olamiju Mama Deaconess Florence Monisola, Adewole devoted her life to the service of God and mankind, leaving behind a legacy of discipline, humility, and compassion worthy of emulation.
Olamiju prayed that God would grant the Adewole family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss while urging the family to sustain the good legacy and values the late matriarch stood for during her lifetime.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul, and may God grants mama eternal rest. The statement concluded.
