The Corps Commander of the Osun State Amotekun Corps, High Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Osun State, Nigeria, and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Maolud celebration, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad.
In a goodwill message marking the celebration, Omoyele extended warm greetings to the Muslim community and urged the faithful to use the occasion to reflect on the teachings and exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad, particularly his virtues of peace, compassion, tolerance, justice, and peaceful co-existence.
The Amotekun Corps Commander emphasized that religious celebrations should serve as opportunities to promote unity, mutual understanding, and harmony among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
He called on Muslims and other residents of Osun State to continue to support peaceful co-existence, respect one another’s beliefs, and work collectively towards the development and security of the state.
Omoyele assured residents that the Osun Amotekun Corps remains committed to protecting lives and property and supporting other security agencies in maintaining peace and security across the state.
He further appealed to the Muslim faithful to celebrate responsibly and peacefully, while praying for continued peace, progress, and prosperity in Osun State and Nigeria.
The Corps Commander wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Maolud celebration.
