A mechanic identified simply as Mr. Wole is currently in police custody after allegedly b3@ting his wife, Rofiat Okewole, to d€@th in the Owode area of Sango-Ota, Ogun State, after she c@ûght him in an extr@marital affair.
The incident occurred on Thursday, August 6, 2026, when Wole reportedly left his home under the guise of heading to his workshop.
Acting on local gossip regarding her husband’s unwh0lesome activities, Rofiat tracked him to a residential apartment in the Owode neighborhood.
Upon arriving at the address, Rofiat allegedly c@ught her husband in fl@grant€ delict0 with a woman identified as Iya Michelle.
A h€ated confr0ntation ensued when the h€artbroken wife confr0nt€d her husband.
However, instead of offering an apology, Wole dr∆gg€d Rofiat out of the apartment and launched a vi0l€nt ∆ss∆ult on her. According to eyewitness accounts, Wole repeatedly sl∆mm€d her h€∆d against a c0ncr€t€ wall until she c0ll∆psed onto the floor, g∆sping for breath.
