Teachers Are Nation Builders, Prince Oyebowale Says, Celebrates Educators on World Teachers’ Day

A Board Member of the Osun Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), Hon. Prince Abimbola Ariyo Oyebowale (MANDATE), has joined the people of Ife North Local Government and residents across Osun State to celebrate teachers on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day.

In a goodwill message, Oyebowale described teachers as the “steady hands” shaping minds, building communities and laying the foundation for a prosperous future in Osun State and Nigeria.

He commended teachers for their dedication, resilience and commitment to educating future generations, stressing that teaching goes beyond a profession and represents a sacred calling that requires patience, sacrifice and love.

The OIRS board member specifically appreciated teachers across Ife North, including those serving in Edunabon, Moro, Ipetumodu, Asipa and other communities, for their contributions to the development of the local government and the state at large.
According to him, every lesson delivered by a teacher represents “a seed sown toward the greatness of Osun State and Nigeria at large.”

Oyebowale also expressed confidence in the commitment of the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke to the welfare, professional development and dignity of teachers across the state.

“As a son of the soil and a stakeholder in the development of our state, I pledge my unwavering support to initiatives that empower our educators and elevate the standard of learning across Ife North and beyond,” he said.

He prayed for continued strength, good health, joy and fulfillment for teachers, urging them to remain steadfast in their service to humanity.
“May your reservoirs of strength never run dry, and may you reap the bountiful fruits of your labour in good health, joy and elevated grace,” he added.

He concluded by wishing teachers across Ife North and Osun State a Happy World Teachers’ Day.
