'Vendors' to inaugurate members, endorse Oyetola for second term tomorrow, as group commends governor on good performance

The leading Osun social political group devoted to propagation of the activities of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola led government in the state, Ilerioluwa Vendors and Publicity Services (IOVPS), has concluded all arrangements for its membership inauguration in Osogbo Local Council Development Area LCDA on Saturday, just as it is set to endorse the governor for a second term in office.

This was disclosed last evening by the duo of the Special Adviser on Youth and Sports to Governor Oyetola, Mr. Abdulateef Adelabu and the state's Federal Coordinator of the National Agriculture and Land Development Authority (NALDA), Mr. Kaseem Yusuf, while featuring on a live radio programme at the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, OSBC, Osogbo. 

Speaking on the radio programme, the governor's Adviser, who is one of the coordinating stakeholders of the group in Osogbo, commended Oyetola on his efficient administration of the state despite odds that would have incapacitated him. 

According to Adelabu, Oyetola has performed creditably and impressively well considering the optimal implementation of the policies of government in the state as evident in all sectors of its economy. 

Also speaking, the NALDA boss, Alhaji Kaseem Yusuff, who is also a key stakeholder of the group in Osogbo, said the forthcoming inauguration and endorsement of Oyetola became necessary given the primacy of consolidating the current democratic gains facilitated by the governor within three years of his administration.

He said the event on Saturday will hold at Ilerioluwa Campaign Office, Ogo-Oluwa Osogbo, as from 12:00pm, adding that top members of Ilerioluwa Apex Body and other prominent personalities had been invited to the Programme. 

The General Secretary of the group, Ilerioluwa Vendors, and Director of the live radio programme, Ilerioluwa Half-Hour, hosted by the group, Mr. Jimoh Olorede, who was also in the studio, expressed gratitude on behalf of the Convener, Prince Dayo Babaranti, and other leaders of Vendors, to the guest-coordinators of the association in Osogbo, including the Chairman of Osogbo West LCDA, Prince Ademola Olaniyan, for their dedication and commitment to the cause of the group.

On the occasion of his birth anniversary held yesterday, Olorede used the medium to thank the Governor and his wife, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi, the Convener of the Group, Prince Dayo Babaranti, the Senior Special Assistant on Natural and Mineral Resources to Governor Oyetola, who is also the group's Coordinator in the state, Alhaji Wahab Oyeniyi, and indeed all his numerous well-wishers, for their prayers, love and goodwill messages.
