The Osogbo Media Team under the leadership of Lady Engr. Yusuf Alaba Idayat has commiserated with the All Progressives Congress Osun State Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal over the demise of his mother and matriarch of the Lawal family on Sunday in Ile-Ife who was buried on the same day according to the Islamic rite.
This was contained in a condolence message made available to the newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital on Monday, she described the death of Alhaja Sinatu Lawal as a great loss to the family, Ile-Ife, and Osun State at large.
She asserted that the late Alhaja Sinatu Lawal is a compassionate and resilient mother and her death is a death to many, but her legacy lives on.
According to her, "On behalf of our party leaders in Osogbo Local Government, Distinguished Sen. Dr. B Ajibola Basiru (APC National Secretary), Baba Esuleke (Chairman Elders Council), Hon. Saheed Onibonokuta(Osogbo APC Chairman), Hon. Curator(APC Osogbo South Chairman), Hon. Ropo (APC Osogbo West Chairman), Hon. Adeoye Adelakun (Osun Central Senatorial Leader), Hon. Adegboye Akintunde, Hon Olalekan Badmus (NPA ED), Hon. Waheed Adedokun, Hon. Yetunde, Hon. Bolanle Jimoh (Gbogbolomo) and other leaders of the party who are not mentioned and the members of the party. My heartfelt sympathy to our able Chairman Sooko Tajudeen Eniafe Lawal over the death of Alhaja Sinatu Lawal. My hearts go out to you in this time of grief. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
