The former Governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola CON, has expressed heartfelt condolences to the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal over the demise of his mother, late Alhaja Sinatu Awero Lawal.
Oyetola described the deceased as an exemplary woman and epitome of womanhood.
The Minister, in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Ismail Omipidan, on Sunday and made available to newsmen, identified with the entire Lawal's family and the good people of Ile-Ife over the departure of an illustrious and industrious "Daughter of the Source."
The death of Alhaja Lawal was announced in the early hours of Sunday after she reportedly breathed her last at the age of 90.
The Minister who acknowledged the roles of motherhood in the lives of children called on his party Chairman and siblings to take solace in the fulfilled and exemplary life that their mother lived while on the planet earth.
"On behalf of my family, and members of our great party - the All Progressives Congress (APC) particularly those of the undisputed cradle of human race (Ile-Ife), I commiserate with our party Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal in particular, the head of the family, Alhaji Olajide Lawal and other members of the family on the passing of their mother, Alhaja Sinatu Awero Lawal.
"As a mother figure whose entire life was dedicated to the worship of God and impact greatly in humanity, her track records were testimonials to a fulfilled life that God bestowed on her.
"I pray Almighty Allah rest her soul and place her to the finest place in Aljana Firdaus", Oyetola prayed.
