Balogun Sango of America, Oguntolu partners Adebayo Muritala to distribute educational materials to Ifa Students in Osun

 

An American citizen Chief Oguntolu Akinlana Balogun who is the Balogun Sango of the United States of America and the founder of Oguntolu Akinlana Balogun NGO in partnership with Mr. Adebayo Muritala David on Wednesday 5th June 2024 distributes educational materials to Ifa Students at Masifa Ejigbo Local Government of Osun State.

In his speech, the representative of Chief Oguntolu Akinlana Balogun at the program, Chief Ifakayode Oyediran praised God for the commencement of the program and appreciated the initiators Chief Oguntolu Akinlana Balogun and Mr. Adebayo Muritala David for prompting the initiative.

He said that Chief Oguntolu Ogunlana from America and Mr. Adebayo Muritala initiated the program for the appraisal of our tradition, and their motive behind the action was to contribute their quota to the education system in the state and promote African culture.

While speaking Mr. Adebayo Muritala David asserted that he is always happy helping the less privileged people in society which is the reason Chief Oguntolu Ogunlana partners with him to provide educational materials to the students of Ifa school in Masifa, he promised not to relent in giving out to the society.

Jagunmolu Amitolu Shittu applauds the initiators of the program for helping the less privileged students in the school with educational materials and promoting the Yoruba cultural heritage in America and Nigeria.

He urged the initiators not to relent in contributing their quota to the progress and development of traditional institutions in the world.

He advised the beneficiaries of the materials to make use of the materials for their purpose and see themselves as future leaders.

Mr Abuchi an Igbo man who's into Ifa tradition also encouraged the children to remain focused and concentrate on their studies.

In their separate remarks, Engr. Yusuf Alaba and Mr. Agboola Lateef, encourage the children to place more focus on their education and also encourage the parents to train their children well.

The Head Mistress of the School, Mrs Faleke appreciates the Balogun Sango of the United States of America and Mr Adebayo Muritala David for their kind gestures towards the students of the school, she prayed to God to strengthen and protect them.

The distributed items were School bags, Biscuits, Water, and drinks.
