Eid-el-Adha: Najeem Oyewumi Felicitates With Muslims Ummah

As Muslims all over the world celebrate this year's Eid-el-Adha  a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ifetedo in Ife South Local Government of Osun State has sent his warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria particularly that of Ife South Local Government, and dear Osun State.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday in Osogbo, the APC Chieftain described  Eid-el-Adha as an important occasion in Islam which among many others demonstrated Allah's benevolence and love for mankind.

He called on Muslim global community to use the occasion of this year Eid-eil-kabir to beseech Allah for peaceful co-existence in the country and God guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kasim Shettima to take the country to a greater height in no distant time.

The APC Chieftain message reads; "I felicitate with our Muslim brethren all over the world particularly that of Ife South Local Government, and our dear Osun State on this important occasion"

"As we prepared for the EID, Let's remind ourselves that fulfilment of a dream with willingness and preparedness to pay ultimate price through a huge sacrifice was the genesis of this celebration.

As we we look forward towards this year celebrations, let us remember, our nation is passing through a critical economic and social reengineering process with severe but crucially needed sacrifice. Our willingness to sacrifice, spirits of tolerance, commitment and dedication to national unity through love for our fellow beings should be our priority.

Let us extend genuine and sincere LOVE towards the deprived members of our society, the widows and those in need.

It is not the meat we sacrificed nor the blood of the animals that makes the EID but our renewed intentions towards a better relationship with our creator and fellow human beings.

It is our prayer that Almighty God grant us many more blessed years to celebrate and make us a better individual". Oyewumi asserted.
