Eid-el-Kabir: Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe congratulates Muslims Faithful

The Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market and Osun State Chairman of Prayer Warrior, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe has congratulated the Muslim brethren in the world on the celebration of the 2024 Eid-el-Adha festivities.

This was contained in a congratulatory statement made available to the newsmen in Osogbo on Saturday, describing Eid-el-Adha as an important occasion in Islam which among many others demonstrated Allah's benevolence and love for mankind.

According to him, "The Eid-el-Adha is held to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion to Allah (SWT) and his readiness to sacrifice his son, Ismail. At the very point of sacrifice, Allah (SWT) replaced Ismail with a ram, which was slaughtered in place of his son. This command from Allah (SWT) was a test of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness and commitment to obey his Lord’s command, without question. Therefore, Eid el-Kabir means the festival of sacrifice.

"On this special occasion, I pray that the sacrifices of the Muslims be handsomely rewarded by Allah (SWT). May the spirit's lot of sacrifice, cordial neighborliness, and selflessness be our guide as we celebrate this Sallah.

"I congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ademola Adeleke, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Ataoja of Osogbo, HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun (Larooye II), Dr Tella and Hon. Bukola Oyewo on the auspicious occasion.

May Allah accept our good deeds and alleviate our sufferings and forgive our transgressions". Kamarudeen said.
