Give President Tinubu Time to Fix Nigeria, Says AKOL

Dr. Siji Olamiju, popularly known as AKOL, a former cabinet member in charge of public health under the administration of Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, former governor of Osun state, has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and shun the forthcoming protest.

Through his media team in Osogbo, Osun State, Dr. Olamiju emphasized that the challenges facing Nigerians are global crises. He noted that since President Tinubu assumed office, he has been working tirelessly to address the suffering of Nigerians.

Dr. Olamiju pointed out that Nigeria's problems did not start in the last 5-8 years but date back to the military era. He criticized the opposition for mismanaging the economy during their 16-year tenure, which President Tinubu is now trying to revamp.

He appealed to Nigerians to give President Tinubu time to fix the country, saying a year is not enough to repair the damage done over two decades. Dr. Olamiju also warned against the dangers of protests, citing the loss of lives and property in previous demonstrations.

Furthermore, he urged state governors to be a helping hand to the President by utilizing federal allocation funds for the benefit of the masses. He highlighted some programs that state governments can implement to reduce the suffering of the people.

Dr. Olamiju warned that the Youths have capacity to call for or instigate war but they lack what is required to end it and as well, they are the most vulnerable victims of the war. He therefore pleaded with Nigerians to give President Tinubu time and rest of mind to fulfil his 'Renewed Hope' promises and fix the country in record time.
