Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru graced the celebration of Ara Day 2025 and 5th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, the Alara of Ara Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Oyelade Adesola Olubayo Abidogun. The event, themed "Ara on the Rise Again," brought together the rich cultural heritage and unity of Ara.
The momentous occasion was a veritable avenue to celebrate not just the tradition of the kingdom but also the milestones achieved over the years.
SRJ was represented at the event by Hon. Muthior Olanrewaju Adetoye Akere.
The APC National Secretary used the occasion to remark about the numerous strides Kabiesi, the Alara-in-Council, all clubs, associations, families, and all sons and daughters of Ara, including those in the diaspora in charting the developmental agenda of the town.
He encouraged the people of the town to rally round their King, promising a steadfast commitment to fostering peace throughout Osun State as he envisions governing the state.
Senator Basiru reassured everyone that under his leadership, all communal disputes would be resolved, with every interest safeguarded.
