The President of the Brave Women Progressive Association, Evangelist Matilda Dele Farinde, has extended warm greetings to Christians across the globe on the occasion of the 2025 Easter celebration, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In her Easter message, Evangelist Farinde described the season as a sacred time for reflection, renewal, and reaffirmation of faith in the power of love, sacrifice, and hope. She emphasized that the resurrection of Christ stands as a timeless reminder of God’s infinite mercy and grace, and should inspire all to embrace virtues that promote peace and unity.
“Easter is not only a celebration of Christ’s victory over death, but also a powerful call to all humanity to live in harmony, regardless of our differences,” she stated. “At this time, more than ever, we must come together as a people, a nation, and a global community, to foster peaceful co-existence and mutual respect.”
Evangelist Farinde further tasked Christians and people of other faiths to use the opportunity of this season to bridge divides, show compassion to one another, and work collectively towards building a more just and equitable society.
She also commended Christian leaders for their continued prayers and moral guidance, urging them to remain steadfast in their commitment to nation-building and spiritual growth.
“As we celebrate Easter, may we remember the significance of Christ’s sacrifice and strive to reflect His teachings in our daily lives,” she concluded.
