The Coronation Central Planning Committee (CCPC) has officially unveiled the schedule for the coronation of His Royal Majesty, Oba Olayinka Oyetunde Ishola Jokotola, the 47th Olojudo of Ido-Osun, Alayemore Kingdom.
Addressing members of the press, community leaders, and guests at a press conference held at Ido-Osun Town Hall, the Chairman of the CCPC, Hon. Sanya Okunade, expressed gratitude to all stakeholders and media representatives for their ongoing support and commitment to cultural preservation.
The coronation celebration will span four days, from Thursday, May 22 to Sunday, May 25, 2025, and will feature three major segments: Pre-Coronation Activities, Coronation Day Ceremonies, and Post-Coronation Thanksgiving.

Thursday, May 22, 2025
1:00 PM – Interdenominational Prayer Service
3:00 PM – Coronation Football Final & Trophy Presentation (Ido-Osun High School)
8:00 PM – Gala Night at Nike Gallery & King Market Square featuring top comedians and musicians
Friday, May 23, 2025
9:00 AM – Conferment of Honorary Chieftaincy Titles
1:00 PM – Special Jumat Service (Ido-Osun Central Mosque)
Post-Jumat – Reception at St. Paul’s Primary School, Ido-Osun
Coronation Day – Saturday, May 24, 2025
The main coronation ceremony will take place at Aje International Market, Ido-Osun, followed by a grand reception at The Distinguished Multipurpose Hall.
The event will be graced by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, as the Royal Father of the Day.

Post-Coronation Thanksgiving – Sunday, May 25, 2025
A Special Thanksgiving Service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Ido-Osun, in appreciation of a successful coronation and the dawn of a new era.
“This coronation marks not just a celebration, but a revival of our heritage, a renewal of hope, and a proud affirmation of our cultural identity,” said Hon. Okunade. “We invite all sons, daughters, and friends of Ido-Osun to join us in this historic occasion.”
