In a landmark event that combined faith, service, and honor, the Onward Christian Soldier (OCS) has officially decorated the Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Chief Dr. Hon. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, as the Grand Patron Worldwide of the organization. The ceremonial investiture took place during the 2025 Annual Thanksgiving Camp Service of OCS, held at the Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Oke Agbara, Osogbo, Osun State.
The decoration was performed by none other than His Royal Majesty, Oba Michael Odunayo Ajayi (Arowotawaya II), the revered Elerinmo of Erinmo Ijesa. With the grandeur of royal presence and spiritual significance, the moment was witnessed by an audience of clergy, royal dignitaries, security officials, and members of the Onward Christian Soldier movement.
In his address, HRM Oba Ajayi praised Chief Omoyele for his unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of citizens in Osun State and beyond, noting that his moral fortitude, leadership acumen, and public service exemplify the values upheld by the Onward Christian Soldier organization. “Chief Omoyele is a man of courage, faith, and honor attributes that resonate deeply with the mission of OCS. His service is not only to the state but also to God and humanity,” Oba Ajayi remarked.
Chief Dr. Omoyele, who expressed deep gratitude for the honor, reaffirmed his dedication to the service of God and humanity. “This decoration is not just a title, but a call to deeper responsibility in advancing spiritual, ethical, and social progress across communities,” he said
