Isokan LG was agog today as the AMBO Grassrooters an ardent support group comprising of Osun Local Government Chairmen from 2017 till date who are also working for the actualization of the governorship ambition of the MD/CEO National Inland Waterways Authority, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji stormed Isokan LGA to consult with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress and mobilize support for the two term Commissioner for Finance in the state.

The Isokan South LCDA Chairman Hon. Wasiu Oyetunji Oyelami in his opening remarks welcomed AMBO Grassrooters to Isokan LG, he lauded the team for taking up the task of propagating the ambition of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.

He stated that the governorship ambition of AMBO is a shared non-negotiable ambition between the neighbouring towns of Ikire, Apomu, Ikoyi and other towns in Irewole Federal Constituency for rapid infrastructural renewal, promoting grassroots good governance,sustainable development, economic stability and prosperity.Therefore it is important for the towns to take up the mantle of support,cohesion of party unity and mobilize support for the actualisation of the AMBO Project.He tasked all party faithfuls in Isokan Local Government to give their full support to Oyebamiji as he is the right man to take Osun to the next level as a way of addressing administrative,human capital, managerial, financial inequalities and disequilibrium among inter agencies reforms 

Hon.Waheed Olaboye, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Isokan LGA on his part emphasized that Oyebamiji is a man who has positive character to humanity into the lives of every households in Isokan LGA and it is time for the people of the local government to reciprocate his good gestures and give him the full support and total participation needed to actualize his dream of piloting the affairs of Osun State.

In his remarks, the State Coordinator of AMBO Grassrooters Elder Deji Agboola extolled the charismatic leadership virtues of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji describing him as a man of the masses deeply rooted in progressive politics and loyal to the plight of the Osun citizenry. He stated that Oyebamiji after serving as a two term Commissioner for Finance in Osun, understands the Osun political terrain and he is well prepared to transform Osun for economic growth, infrastructural development and human capacity development.

Hon.(Chief) Mrs. Ogunfolaju,Chairperson Ayedaade South LCDA urged party faithfuls in Isokan to stand firm with AMBO just as she implored them to take up the task of door-to-door support mobilization and sensitization for Oyebamiji for the purpose of the APC primary elections and ultimately the governorship elections next year while thanking Hon.Akeem Adesoji Olowopejobori, Ex-Council Chairman Ilesa East who pleasantly inaugurated Unit and Ward Coordinators with clear terms of reference to deliver AMBO Governorship ambition so as to record resourceful and resounding electoral victories at both primary and gubernatorial elections

In an heartwarming development, members of the NURTW in Isokan LG pledged their unwavering support and endorsed Oyebamiji as the most credible candidate that will redress highlighted their travails in the hands of the PDP led government in Osun State.
