APC National Secretary Dr Ajibola Basiru Celebrates Osun Chairman Sooko Lawal at 60, Hails His Exemplary Leadership
The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Dr Ajibola Basiru rejoiced with the Chairman of the party in Osun State, Sooko Tajudeen Olaniyi Lawal on his birthday. Sooko Lawal turns sixty years old.
In his message of felicitations, Dr Ajibola Basiru described the Chairman as a politician with uncommon leadership qualities, who has continued to chart a clear course for the party since he took over.

Your leadership qualities have held the party together while your magic wand has given Osun APC the strength it needs to weather the political storm in the State. Your simplicity and gentle mien coupled with sociable disposition have endeared you to party members and leaders as well."

Sooko Tajudeen Olaniyi Lawal a native of Ife was the Commissioner of Home Affairs and Tourism. He became the acting Chairman of Osun APC upon the installation of Prince Gboyega Famodun as the new Owa of Igbajo.
Sooko Lawal was confirmed as the substantive Chairman in July 2023 following his performance in a few months in the acting capacity.
A graduate of Economics and Public Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, Sooko Tajudeen Olaniyi Lawal had served as the Executive Secretary of Ife East Local Government.
