Osun 2026:Irepodun,Orolu Local Government Areas from Osun Central Senatorial District rally support for Bola Oyebamiji ...inaugurates Wards and Unit campaign Coordinators.

In continuation of their avowed commitment to the actualization of the governorship aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and their concerted and consistent efforts in ensuring that the Former Commissioner for Finance emerges as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the August 8th, 2026 governorship election.

 

However, considering the release of Election Timetable and Schedule of Activities by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC),AMBO Grassrooters on Sunday inaugurated Ward and Unit Campaign Coordinators to kick start door-to-door mobilization and canvassing support across Orolu and Irepodun Local Government Areas.

The group which consist of past and present Local Government Chairmen/Chairpersons  from 2017 till date has taken the sensitization, interactive engagement and familiarization tours to other local governments in recent times to mobilize support for the MD/CEO National Inland Waterways Authority, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji as the best candidate that can promote Quality Leadership, Good Governance,Job Creation,Social Security,Economic Recovery and Stability

Dr. Rasheed Oyedele remarked that Bola Oyebamiji is eminently qualified considering his sterling credentials, administrative prowess, intellectual brilliance and human capital development & career progression in reputable financial institutions for several decades.He added that in the spirits of sportsmanship ,equity ,fairness,social justice, political balance & equilibrium, the All Progressives Congress party (APC) should consider picking the party's flag bearer from the West Senatorial District without any iota of compromise, complacency and insensitivity,reiterating that Oyebamiji ticks all the boxes of a credible candidate that would bring incontrovertible and resounding electoral victory for the party.

Hon. Adekunle Benson,Orolu Ex-Council Chairman in his short but impactful speech affirmed that to guarantee brighter and better rewarding future for the good people of Osun State,hence the party should unanimously without any toga of hesitation present Bola Oyebamiji as the flagbearer of the APC in the August 8th 2026 governorship election noting that Oyebamiji is a lovable person with positive character whose vision for Osun  State is to bring about economic prosperity, infrastructural growth and human capacity development through financial re-engineering, discipline, transparency and accountability.

Consequently,the Chairman of APC in Orolu LG urged party faithfuls to promote peace and unity, shun actions capable of polarising the party just as he lauded AMBO Grassrooters for preaching peace and unity within the party so as to maintain inseparable bond and strength of the party as we are approaching Governorship.

On his part, Hon.Kamil Oyedele,a former House Assembly that represented Orolu LG affirmed the party's readiness to unseat Governor Ademola Adeleke from Bola-Ige House,Abere under a free,fair, transparent and credible contest and replace him with Oyebamiji, a Financial Expert, Astute Public Administrator, a lover of the masses and a loyal party man whose ideals and cores values in progressivism is unmatchable and unequals among other aspirants.

The group also visited Irepodun Local Government with the core objective of soliciting for unwavering support of party faithfuls and leaders.At the end of the interactive meeting,Ward and Unit Campaign Coordinators were also inaugurated with the same mandate of carvassing and mobilizing support for the actualization of Oyebamiji's ambition through door-to-door sensitisation and public engagement.

In their separate remarks, a former Special Adviser on Environment to Ex-Governor Oyetola, Builder Rufus Oyegbile and Barr. Goke Ogunsola, Chairman Orolu Local Government  extolled leadership virtues of Oyebamiji's personality while describing him as a friend of the masses and an embodiment of integrity,humility and native intelligence.They assured party faithfuls present that with Oyebamiji's candidacy the party is certain of recording landslide  victory at the polls.

Hon. Kamil Oloyede the Director General of AMBO Grassrooters stated that Oyebamiji remains the most credible candidate to lead Osun APC to electoral victory in the 2026 gubernatorial election noting his deep sense of commitment, dedication and determination to Osun State master plan  development vis a vis economic &  financial stability is unprecedented.He further stated that  Oyebamiji's contributions to capacity building and human resource management has been very impactful with accelerated growth and sustainable development during his tenure as the First Former Managing Director of Osun Investment Company Limited (OSICOL) and as two term Commissioner for Finance in the State.
