ADC: A TRIUMPHANT ENTRY BY OGBENI AREGBESOLA TO OSUN STATE, We are confident, bold, ready for ADC - Senator Oriolowo

Osogbo, the capital of Osun, was yesterday agog as African Democratic Congress ADC in Osun State received their leader leader, symbol of good governance, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, on his first official visit to the state since his latest appointment as the Interim National Secretary of our great party, African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The atmosphere was electrifying as the people of Osogbo, in their usual fashon trooped-out enmasse to receive him from Ita-Olokan to the Ataoja’s palace at Oja-Oba, Gbaemu, Station Road, Orisumbare market to Old Garage, Olaiya, before terminating at the Oranmiyan House in Osogbo, where thousands of party members had waited for him.
Addressing the gathering, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola urged ADC members in Osun, to remain steadfast, shun hurling abuses at opposition members but engage Nigerians on an issues-based basis, promoting the ideology of the party.
He also reiterated that our solid focus is to return the true progressive tendency in the state to government in next year’s governorship election in the state.
Among the party leaders that witnessed the occasion were Dr. Charles Omidiji - Osun ADC Chairman, Alhaji Issa Adesiji Azeez - Chairman, Omoluabi Progressives, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, Senator Kola Ogunwale (Jumokol), Alhaji Rasaq Salinsile, Senator Adelere Oriolowo, former Cabinet members in Osun, members of the State Coordinating Team/State Executives of the ADC/Omoluabi Progressives, and host of party members across all the Local Governments and wards in Osun State.
While reacting to the mamout crowd that graced the occasion, Senator Adelere Oriolowo in his remarks said ADC is ready and determined to win the coming gubernatorial election in Osun. Senator Oriolowo assured the people of Osun State of success, enjoying them to stay focused and work with ADC for a new Osun and Nigeria at large. "With Aregbesola and ADC, the people of Osun will not be disappointed. The winning is assured" Oriolowo assured.
In his own comment during the occasion, Prince Hon. Jide Zubair a.k.a (JZ) extolled the Virtues and Value of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, said his political sagacity is second to none in Nigeria. Prince Jide who was seen visibly elated said the idea of ADC by the party leaders at the National level is a welcome idea. He promised to work assiduously for the party from his Odo-Otin local government where he came from to the State level for the party's victory. JZ said "ADC has come to stayed in Osun and we are poised for victory already".
While commending the ADC party leaders and members across the state, High Chief Odediji Segun Ademola, Chief Obaro of Ila Orangun, from Ila LG, the party leaders have done a wonderful job with the idea of coalition and for Osun State, ADC will be a party to beat in the coming Election. "As you can see the crowd, this is just the beginning, we have not even started campaigning, you can see things for yourself, those other parties here in Osun are jittery already, and by the grace of God almighty, ADC is on top.
Alhaji Muhammadu Mustapha Mubarak (a k.a. Sheik) from Egbedore LG, Osun State said in his own submission during the occasion that people of Osun State are tired of APC and PDP, that this coalition that brought ADC came at the right time.
Alhaji Mubarak said ADC is on the rescue journey to save the people of Osun State from poverty and political turbulence. He reiterated further that what will happen in the next election in Osun State will be a surprise, and it will be good for the people of Osun State.
Mustapha pointed to the fact ADC party have leaders of integrity, tested & trusted, and political heavyweight across the country especially in Osun State. He said the likes of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola have been there before and people still acknowledged his achievements while in office as the state Governor. He called on the people of Osun State to shine their eyes and not to be deceived by jobbers politicians.
