Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Ex-Depot Price by ₦30

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a ₦30 reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), lowering it from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre.

According to a statement released by Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, the new pricing took effect on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

The price cut, the statement noted, reflects the company’s commitment to supporting national development and ensuring a steady, uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.

In addition, the refinery revealed plans to begin the phased rollout of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across the country, starting August 15, 2025. This initiative aligns with its broader goals of promoting operational efficiency and sustainable energy solutions.
